This complaint arises out of RTI application on 17/07/2012 to the PIO, in the O/o. Commissioner of Commercial tax. (Copy not filed)

A reply was given by PIO on 24/07/2012 (within time) stating that the relevant record pertaining to the recruitment of Commercial Tax inspector are under submission to Vigilance Department Govt. of Goa and hence information could not be made available. Thereafter complaint was filed directly without availing the opportunity of approaching the FAA.

The Complaint was filed on 28/11/2012. Notices were issued for fixing the first hearing on 28/03/2013, but complainant remains absent. He has never pursued this matter hence it may be presumed that he has no more interest. The complaint is therefore dismissed. If complainant is still interested in information then he may approach the First Appellate Authority within two months on receipt of this order. If he so approaches then FAA should pass appropriate order, by examining if the file has come back from vigilance.
