This second appeal arises out of original RTI application dated 09/03/2012 made to PIO / Goa Industrial Development Corporation, EDC Complex, Patto Plaza, Panaji, Goa. in respect of Manual- II containing Powers, Duties and facilities for employees of GIDC.

The second appeal was fixed for hearing starting from 10/08/2012. Appellant remained absent continuously from on 12/03/2013 onwards. On 27/02/2014 the PIO was asked about compliance of the order of FAA . The present PIO has filed his reply dt. 11/08/2014 on 16/09 2014 and it states

• Within 30 days of the application certified copy of requested manual was supplied on payment of Rs. 54.
• The FAA directed to supply certified copy of updated manual.
• The Appellant was asked by letter dated 06/07/2012 to collect same on payment of Rs. 80, upon which he filed the 2^nd Appeal.

• Pursuant to direction given by SCIC on 06/03/2014, the present PIO “Initiated steps to update the manual in respect of power and duties of its Officers and employees, maintained in the corporation as manual 9 and uploaded the same on official website of the corporation so that it is readily available to the Appellant and the Public at large. Further, the Respondent No. 1 under its communication dated 25/03/2014 intimated the Appellant that the information requested by him is readily available on the website of the Corporation.”
• Further the Appellant once again deposited Rs. 80/- on 25/03/2014 and collected certified hard copy of updated manual on the same day.

In view of above, the purpose of original RTI application is fulfilled. Manuals are updated and also kept on website. Appellant continues to remain absent. Hence it can be presumed that he is satisfied after receiving information on 25/03/2014.

The second appeal therefore is closed as partly allowed and complied with. Order declared in Open Court. Inform the parties
