Complaint
filed on : -03/03/2010
This
Complaint arises from RTI applications dated 08/02/2010 made to PIO
and Mamlatdar of Ponda, who had given following reply on 22/02/2010
“With
reference to your application dated 08/02/2010 on the subject cited
above, it is found that no Residence Certificate (RC for short) has
been issued to Shri. Vijendra Pundalik Tari and his wife Smt. Maya
Vijendra Tari or any of their family members for the period from
January 2008 till January 2010 according to this office records.”
A
complaint was made directly to the Office of SCIC, without availing
the remedy of approaching FAA. The Complaint was made on 24/2/2010 on
following grounds.
- The question was asked regarding Delcaration Form submitted by V.P. Tari at the time of applying for RC. Such Form is always required to be submitted as Evidence and Proof of residence.
- The question also asked to give certified copies of report of Talathi, educational certificates, employment certificates in order to obtain the Residential Certificate.

- The PIO did not give information.
- Hence action should be taken against PIO and he should be directed to furnish information free of cost.
Notices
were issued fixing the hearing on 23/03/2010. Complainant was
represented by his Advocate till 15/12/2010 and thereafter the
complainant continuously remained absent.
He is asking copies of Declaration Form for RC without stating if the
said Shri. Tari has actually got any RC No details of RC are given.
The information asked is about third party. The PIO has already
stated that his Office has not issued RC to the family members of
Vijendra Tari.
Thus
there is no evidence to show that the reply of PIO was false.
-----ORDER----
Complaint
is therefore dismissed. Order declared in Open Court. Parties to be
informed.
