This Complaint arises from RTI Question dated 18/12/2012 made to PIO of Directorate of Education Department. It refers to a landed property bearing Survey No. 72/11 at Shiroda where a Primary School existed long back. The RTI question 1(a,b,c,d) pertains to various land transactions that may or may not have happened with the land. The Complainant was not satisfied with the reply of PIO and has filed this Complaint directly.

On the date of final hearing i.e. 07/07/2014 it is explained by the PIO that he gave a reply on the same day, 18/01/2013 which is in time. A Government Primary School was functioning in a room belonging to the society in the landed property No. 71/11 but the said Primary School shifted way back in 1974 to a new building. Hence no questions as asked by the Complainant are answerable by the PIO. As per his records the property in Survey No. 72/11 was in the name of Mr. Surendra Sawant upto 1974.After this school shifted. The affairs of the said property are no longer in purview of Government. Hence the present PIO’s files do not contain any answer to the questions asked. Hence the Complaint may be dismissed.
